Wei Li

Wei Li, a passionate musician, started to play violin at the age of 10. At age of 11 she started to play the viola. During the same year, she enrolled into the Shenzhen Arts School. She was the Principal Viola of Shenzhen Youth Symphony Orchestra.

In 2008, she was accepted into the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music under full scholarship. After her graduation, Wei Li continued to strive for greater heights and challenged herself time and again - she continued her interests in chamber music, orchestra music and teaching as well.

Wei Li has performed with the Singapore Festival Orchestra, Metropolitan Festival Orchestra, Singapore Lyric Opera Orchestra and Singapore Pop Orchestra. In 2010, she was selected as a member of the World Youth Orchestra, in conjunction with the first Youth Olympic Games held in Singapore.

Wei Li is currently a full time violin, viola and music educator at Forte Musicademy.
